08.13.09 - An update!! Finally!!

Yup, so this thing has been fairly neglected for a while. That's not to say that I haven't been working on it. In fact, I've managed to get one massive overhaul done.

I was getting a bit tired of my old photo management software (Menalto Gallery) and decided it was time to bite the bullet and make the change to something new. That something new is Zenphoto. Ultra clean design and some awesomely cool features. The two that come to mind are Google Maps (yeah!) and RSS feeds.

For any photo that has GPS coordinates in its EXIF data, Zenphoto will load up a Google Map of the location where it was taken. Super sweet! My iPhone does this, so I've been uploading images from my jaunts around town. Cool stuff! Give it a whirl here.

Also, the RSS feeds are pretty darn sweet. You can get one that will tell you if any new photos have been uploaded, or for any given album of your choosing. Just head to the new photo gallery and look for the "RSS" link at the bottom of each given page. Ta da!

Jon, Leanna, Steven, Elle, Yours Truly, and 15 spam musubis attacked Mt. Tam. It was a nice chill day of hiking. West Point Inn is awesome, by the way.

Yup, so I'm here. Actually, I've been here for a couple of weeks now, but things have been so crazy I haven't had time to take or post pictures. Problem rectified. Pictures of when Mom came to visit me and Jon as well as shots of the (temporary) studio are up and hopefully more will follow. Enjoy 'em like I do.
